Notes: Takeuchi Yuko and Kimura Takuya crossover! A small valentine's day fanfic for the morbid and the shameless.

Takeuchi Yuko was speechless for a moment, "You want to take me out for Valentine's Day? I t-think you have the wrong number." This made Kimura Takuya angry. It took him ages to even consider calling his former co-star, and then guilt set in about Shizuka, his wife and the news about Yuko's divorce to that scum bag Nakamura Shido AND then he had to be sly about getting her phone number from staff.
"You hung up the first time I asked, I wouldn't get a wrong number TWICE!" Takuya barked in the phone, he was standing outside his townhouse, a second home he used when he was fliming on location. He had finshed fliming Karei-naru Ichizoku but didn't bother moving out of the townhouse. He was furious with his wife, who had gone and leased out some retail space in hopes of starting up her jewelry shop again.
Yuko shook her head and said, "I think maybe you think this is Kudo-san's number?"
"What a pain!" Kimura was angry but played with his hair and gave a weak smile, as someone passed him to get to the elevator. "Just meet with me, I have things I want to tell you."
Yuko felt a sharp pain in her chest, her voice shaking, "Will you pick me up?"
Kimura snapped his fingers and knew she couldn't resist, "Maybe..." He purred and hung up.
=====================
The night before Valentine's day, Yuko felt cold all over but that morning she felt even colder and looked sorrowful. She received no other phone calls from Kimura and out of fear she didn't leave her house for the next two days. She spent them cleaning out the kitchen and washing all the blankets. She couldn't get his voice and just how upset he sounded but at the end of their conversation he sounded all charming and cute. Yuko couldn't think of any reason he would want to see her, it was easily over three years since they last worked together.
There was knocking on her window. Yuko looked up from the hallway and saw Kimura knocking on her window waving, his hair was cut short and he had on a pair of large sunglasses. Yuko went to open the door and Kimura slipped in and handed her a small pink box, it was warm to the touch and Yuko noted it was sweet bread. Yuko turned to first set it aside on her small table by the door, but in seconds Kimura snapped the door shut and held her by the waist and had his lips to her ear. Yuko let out a whimper and shoved him away, she wanted to start sobbing, not because this was wrong, but because she wasn't in control.
Kimura took off his sunglasses and gave a big grin, "I could never forget your old greeting for me!" Yuko had a hand to her face and bit her lip trying hard not to cry, she thought back during the PRIDE taping, and how she got into this mess.
=================
Yuko loved attention, even with her being married and Takuya almost into four years of marriage, she couldn't hide the fact she loved the press's attention on her "relationship" with Takuya. She always got attention from the staff and fans. The press loved to write how she was infamous for being popular, really POPULAR with her castmates and how she left a string of them wanting more. But Yuko didn't get any of that from Takuya, he was professional and straight edge with his co-workers and didn't want to socialize with Yuko anymore than he had to.
Two weeks into the taping, Yuko stumbled upon Takuya and his wife Shizuka in his dressing room, he had left the door slightly open and the pair was talking, Yuko listened in and then Takuya slammed his fist on the table and Shizuka started to cry, Yuko will never forget the exchange that went on.
"All you have to do is lift up your dress." Yuko looked on, in the dressing room she saw Takuya and Shizuka standing close to each other, Takuya's back was to Yuko so she couldn't see his face, but she saw Shizuka's who was crying and she held a hand to her mouth to keep herself quiet as possible.
"It's been weeks." Yuko still couldn't see Takuya but heard the all to known sound of a man unzipping his pants, "I haven't been home and I don't have any freetime coming up." Shizuka's face grew red and with one hand still covering her mouth she said, "If this is the things that make you happy..." Her hands went to his waist and Yuko backed up away from the open doorway and slammed up against the wall. She heard Takuya laugh and Shizuka crying and Yuko still didn't walk away.
"If you keep crying, I'm just going to leave."
Yuko didn't hear Shizuka say anything else.
"I'm not forcing you, right?"
It was still slient. After a few moments Shizuka threw herself on the floor and cried. Takuya zipped up his pants, "I said, If you keep crying, I'm just going to leave." Shizuka started to wail and pound the floor and Takuya went to the door and spat to his wife, "I'm taking the day off tomorrow, I want you at the townhouse." Outside the hall Takuya came face to face with Yuko, who was so ashamed to be caught eavesdropping, he didn't wait for her to make an excuse and pulled out a cigarette out of his pocket.
Yuko felt she had some dirt on Takuya and would use this to get him to pay attention to her.
During a break of taping that day, Yuko pulled Takuya aside and went straight to the punch, "So your not getting any from you wife?" Takuya contiuned to smoke and didn't make any eye contact with Yuko, "Going to visit her tomorrow? What if you dont' get the time off? Just do what highschool boys do..."
Takuya leaned close to Yuko and blew the smoke in her face and flicked the cigarette on the dress and walked to his dressing room. Yuko trailed him and started to shout obscenities. Knowing it would bring unwanted atttention, Takuya pulled her in his dressing room and slammed her up against the door, "You need to shut up about things you don't know."
Yuko held her ground, "I know enough. Your relationship with your wife is demented."
Takuya let her go and laughed, "Are you angry because I don't fawn over you like everyone else does?"
Yuko stood up against the wall and spat out, "I don't care about things like that."
"Sure you don't. All you women are the same. Gotta live up to what the press writes about."
Yuko came close to him, "Why not? It gets me more work."
Takuya sneered at Yuko, "Your marriage won't last if you contiune to parade yourself like this."
Yuko came close to Takuya and laughed, "Now you need to shut up about things you don't know." Now holding his waist, she pulled him down and started to nibble on his ear, "I can save you a trip from that townhouse tomorrow..."
=============
With his sunglasses off, Takuya stopped grinning and pushed Yuko down the hallway, "Remember when you wanted to save me that trip?" Yuko stood in the hallway and watched Takuya remove his shoes, 'Don't look so guilty, your divorced, right? I remember reading about it in the papers. Husband left you and you haven't had any new work lately, all washed up, right?"
Yuko threw her shoe at him, "Shut the hell up."
Takuya had in one hand that small pink box he bought with him and in the other he dragged her down the hallway by the waist, "Don't tell me you don't like the attention?" Inside her bedroom he pulled her close and she didn't really put up a fight. Takuya pushed her on her bed, the blanket was warm from just coming out of the dryer and he mused, "You were expecting this, right? All you women are the same.." Yuko cursed and scrambled to be on top, to give her some sense of control.

Pairing: Tsuyoshi Kusanagi/Koda Kumi
Notes: Never happen, it SHOULD have happen, but as far as I know it'd
didn't. This is all made up! Don't own SMAP or Miss Koda. I'm
open to any and all questions or comments. Regards and thanks for
taking the time to read! (This is no where near done. It will be added
on..)
Story: Shingo has the luck of getting Koda Kumi to guestspot on his solo song and while she comes to discuss the song and concept, she seems to taken back by Tsuyoshi's work ethics and finds a similar soul within the group of SMAP.
'It must be done with all your love and all your heart." Takuya said
over a book his reading to Shingo who was sitting around with a
notebook.
"Love? Heart? Geez Takuya, it's just my solo song." Shingo looked away bored and considered ripping out the few pages he did write out on his faded orange notebook. "Besides, it's not like I'm going to write it, I just gotta come up with the concept and take it to the higher up's and they look it over and it goes from there."
Takuya frowned and in walked in Tsuyoshi Kusanagi who looked thrilled, "The higher up's agreed to a remake this year for me!" He wrote a yellow shirt and a pair of simple blue jeans, he looked over at Takuya and seemed to read his mind and put up his hand, "I know what your thinking, taking the easy way out! But we're putting a whole new spin on the remake, something fresh."
"Does it have any korean?" Takuya asked.
"Um.. No, not really." Tsuyoshi scanned his lyrics seat.
"Good." and Takuya left the studio for the evening.
===============
Tsuyoshi had spent the last hour with Shingo throwing out ideas for his solo. Tsuyoshi fancied the idea of teaming up with Shingo again, like they did back in the MIJ tour, but Shingo teased him and said it was just a easy way for Tsuyoshi to get more korean on the record. Needless to say, Shingo turned the idea down flat. Tsuyoshi left the room and headed down to the first floor to the vending machine to buy a pair of drinks. Back upstairs Shingo got a phone call from their manager.Their manager was a tough lady who fought for her boys and held them with high standards. She was tight with the planning of the album and wanted the solo songs done by this weekend. She called Shingo to tell him Nakai had contacted an upcoming female talent to duet on his solo song and that he would meet Nakai in the morning to accompany him to the talent's agency. Shingo winced, he wanted to finsh the song details and spend the weekend with his lady friend.
Tsuyoshi came back in the room with a couple of drinks, he handed one can to Shingo and asked who had called. Shingo explained that Nakai was going to be dueting with a female this year and Tsuyoshi couldn't hide his surprise. "No crossdressing this year? Think he can handle being on the same stage with a female singer?" Tsuyoshi asked an empty question and the pair silently thought of Nakai struggling to keep a straight face on stage. "Well that settles it!" Tsuyoshi slammed his soft drink down on the table, "You should have a female singer as well?"
Shingo looked bored, "And just who do you think I should get?"
Tsuyoshi looked back at Shingo with dancing eyes, "I don't know, how about Koda Kumi?"
===============
In the morning Shingo went to meet Nakai at recording studio, from there the pair was to take a taxi to the talent's agency and from there, Nakai would network and basically work it to get the talent to agree. Only issue was that Nakai was over an hour late and Shingo still wanted to make that weekend trip to his girlfriends. Shingo pulled out his cellphone and called Nakai but he had his cellphone turned off and it only went straight to his voice message which was a recording Nakai did of a giants game he saw on TV. Nakai was playing with the audio recording feature on his phone and recorded his greeting to a giants tv sports voice-over. Shingo looked down to this feet, this was going to be a long day.
Walking around the building and waving to the weekend staff, Shingo sliently cursed Nakai and how he held up his plans.
"Hey! HEY! HEEEEEEEEEEEEEY!!" Nakai was waving Shingo to the front door, he was holding some shopping bags and was sporting this bright red baseball cap. "Shingo, what are you doing here? I thought we were going to meet downtown?"
Shingo marched up to Nakai and wanted to slap him, "Downtown? I was told her!"
Nakai handed Shingo the shopping bags to hold and smiled and pulled out his cellphone, "Well, when I was downtown, I didn't see you and went ahead with my meeting and got her higher up's to agree! Isn't that awesome, me singing with a lady!" Nakai looked up and just glowed, without letting Shingo speak he turned to Shingo, but not looking at him said, "Do you mind taking my bags back to my place? You have a key right?" Nakai was busy with his cellphone and dialing some numbers, "We and her are going to meet up! Might make a weekend out of it!" Nakai marched out the door, laughing into the phone. Shingo looked like he wanted to die.
"B-but your place is 30 minutes out of the way..." Shingo looked to the floor and dragged the shopping bags out the door and hailed a cab.
==============
It was late saturday and Shingo was over at Tsuyoshi's small flat. Tsuyoshi had made the pair dinner, one of his favorite korean dishes and the two spoke of the solo songs.
"I'm going to be wearing this marching outfit, kinda like you would if you were in a band!" Tsuyoshi spoke with a mouthfull.
"Is it going to be black? Like a black parade?" Shingo asked.
Tsuyoshi waved his hand and shot him down, "Black parade? This is a happy song! I want it to be bright, with lots of red and maybe some lights!"
"Lights?" Shingo choked.
"Yeah, maybe get some lights to light up on the actual outfit! Kinda like a christmas tree!" Tsuyoshi smiled.
Shingo drank his tea and reconsider spending the night.
After dinner and cleaning up, Tsuyoshi bought up Koda Kumi again. "I think it would be cool to have a female talent. I know Goro's going to have some female backing vocals."
"Yeah, but why her? She isn't known for her singing." Shingo unzipped his overnight bag and pulled out his night clothes.
"I think she's a good choice, she's really popular and she'll bring in a whole new audience." Tsuyoshi went to turn on the TV. On the TV was a Koda Kumi PV playing, she was in a bar and playing with one of the bottles. Tsuyoshi blushed.
"I think you got other things on your mind..." Shingo looked and swore he saw Tsuyoshi's face grow red.
"Just go to sleep, we'll talk in the morning." Tsuyoshi threw Shingo the remote and left to his bedroom.
==============
In the morning, Shingo woke up first and cleaned up the living room and then sat back on the sofa to watch some more TV. Dozens of commericals passed with his fellow bandmate hawking drinks, camera's and phones. "Jesus, sometimes enough is ENOUGH!" Shingo winced as he saw his bandmates long hair on almost every channel and not getting anything any different, he turned it off and went to make some breakfast. He made some eggs and burned some toast and spilled the coffee all over the kitchen floor. "Great.." Shingo bent down with his napkin to pick up the mess. In the living room, Tsuyoshi went to turn on the TV and flipped it to the news channel. The news bit was discussing SMAP's latest album and how Koda Kumi would be making a guest apperance.
Both Tsuyoshi and Shingo stopped with what they were doing. "What the hell..." Tsuyoshi trained off, "I swear, I think this place is bugged."
Shingo nodded and said to no one really, "I guess we better get her on board."
That afternoon, the pair threw back more ideas and informed the agency to get incontact with her people to set up a meeting.
==============
It was a week later and Shingo was nervous, "I think you should come with me!" He pleaded with Tsuyoshi to come with him to the meeting of her people.
"I'm already here, aren't I?" Tsuyoshi looked bored, meeting with another's talent's agency was left to the management crew, but they had insisted that Shingo come personally.
Shingo was fumbling with his cellphone and his backpack and his notebook all at once and out dropped a few loose papers, Shingo was busy trying to turn off his phone, he didn't notice his papers flying out the front door, due to a light breeze and Tsuyoshi rushed to pick them up, he bent down to pick them up and noticed a pair of large black boots stepping on one of the papers, Tsuyoshi mused, "Just who the hell wears steel toe boots these days?" He looked up and saw Koda Kumi herself looking down at him, he froze and forgot all about the papers.
Koda Kumi picked up the papers and went to hand them to Tsuyoshi who just stared, he was totally caught off guard and glad he went with Shingo to the meeting; He turned to look at Shingo who was still busy with his cellphone.
"Katori-san? Is that you?" He went to hand Shingo the papers, Shingo was just as shocked and mumbled something about his cellphone not working, Koda Kumi smiled and said something to Shingo about getting better hired help. Shingo looked back at Tsuyoshi and laughed, "Good help is so hard to find these days!" and with that, the pair went inside to, leaving Tsuyoshi to follow.
Inside the elevator the trio were quiet and it was awkward. Koda Kumi was looking back at Tsuyoshi and Shingo and watched how the pair kept their eyes down on her black boots.
"I think you wear a bigger size than me." Tsuyoshi said
Koda Kumi frowned, "I wear them to kick men like you back in your place." She went and did a fake kick and glared at Tsuyoshi, "Really Shingo, your hired help sucks."
Shingo laughed and the elevator doors flung open.
===============
Serving tea to Koda and Shingo, Tsuyoshi fumed, he wasn't hired help and it pissed off that Shingo went along with her joke. Was it a joke? Wasn't she aware that he was a part of SMAP? Tsuyoshi watched the pair sitting at the main table and saw Koda Kumi look up from time to and time and point to him and ask Shingo questions. Tsuyoshi would watch Shingo talk back to her with a laugh and then the pair would go back to writing. After a while, Shingo's phone rang and Shingo looked at the caller ID and excused himself to leave the room. With only Kumi and Tsuyoshi in the room, the pair looked at everything in the room but each other.
After five minutes and realizing Shingo wasn't going to be back anytime soon, Koda Kumi went and greeted Tsuyoshi, "Your tea's all flat and not very sweet." She poured her tea into the sink and went through the cupboard to search for more sugar. Tsuyoshi watched Kumi looking but didn't want to tell her the sugar was under the sink in a small blue box. Kumi barked for Tsuyoshi to bring her a chair so she can look through the cupboard's upper shelves and Tsuyoshi pulled her a chair. She climbed up and searched, it was then Tsuyoshi noticed just how little of a dress she was wearing.
He stared and enjoyed the show.
The TV was running on the music channel and there was a countdown of the latest hits and it finally hit the number one spot and it was SMAP's latest single 'Arigatou' and Tsuyoshi looked over his shoulder to look and Kumi came down from the chair and watched and kinda looked back at the TV to Tsuyoshi and back again. The video was played and nothing much was said.
Shingo slammed open the door and rushed in, "Listen, I gotta cut this meeting short, I can get back to you in the morning, right, Kuu?" Shingo didn't wait for an answer and was out the door, leaving Tsuyoshi and Kumi in the room.
"Y-your one of them?" Koda Kumi pointed at Tsuyoshi and back at the TV.
"Do you always talk to people like that?" Tsuyoshi smirked.
"Your tea really sucked." Koda Kumi laughed and smiled, she held out her hand, "I thought you were some korean help. I mean you look like a halfer. I had some hired help break into my home while I was touring recently and, so I'm kinda resentful at the moment." Tsuyoshi took her shaked it and grinned, "Don't worry, I get it all the time, I'm not as flashy as Kimura, I'm rather easy to overlook."
Koda Kumi punched his shoulder, "Oh no, now that I've got a good look at you, I'm liking what I see."
Tsuyoshi fell slient and didn't know what to say.
"Now, how about I take you out for some real tea?" Koda Kumi pulled out her phone and called for her driver to pick them up.

Before either of us knew what had happen. Shizuka was pregnant and off
getting married to Takuya. I remember first meeting her and thinking
she was all kinds of Amazing. I had begged and pleded to get her on the
show.
When she arrived, she arrived alone. No entourage at all! I was floored. She was smoking a cigarette and cooly asked if there was a place for her to change. I stumbled a bit as I rushed down the hallway looking for her room.
When I found the right door, she blushed. Takuya came out shirtless and with a towel on his head. He didn't bother to look at her but gave me a bored look. "Another quickie?" he asked without waiting for an answer.
I turned white and looked at Shizuka. She smiled with a wink and handled me her used cigarette. "Get me some tea, would you?" She shut the door and I was left with her cigarette which started to burn my fingers.
"She's a smug motherfucker."
I turned to face Takuya. His hair dry and dressed for the show, he had a smile on his face. "Stay away from her.. I hear she's out for cash." I was dumbfounded and concern. Ever since Takuya's last girlfriend dropped him, he became jaded and almost hostile towards most women in the business.
"I didn't know you were one for reading those tabloids."
"Don't tell me, you've gone all soft on her!" Takuya said slamming his hand on the counter, "And your making tea for her!?! You don't even make tea for me."
There was a knock and Shizuka stood wearing a summer dress. She was leaning against the doorway with a wide smile. She went straight to Takuya and kissed him quickly on the cheek. "Unbelievable.. And here I thought you were the nice one."
Takuya scowled and looked away.
We later did the performance and did some press and photos. SMAP and
Shizuka was going to be on a cover of one of the TV guides we usually
did. I never kept them, but I mangaed to get to the store and buy this
particular issue.
I later threw it out when Shizuka and Takuya announced their marriage.

I don't remember her being so slender and that birthmark on her shoulder looked almost silly. "Stop staring at me" was what she said to the floor but I knew it was ment for me. I was sitting up in the bed and had nothing on myself. I figure I would wait for her to leave for myself to get dressed. We did this all the time, going to hotels and just doing what adults did. I wasn't really comfortable with sex but being with Miho was fantastic. She was kind, considerate and gentle. And she never asked about my scars. But I think she got the hint. Alot of people in the industry was aware of just how much Kitagawa really liked the boys and how he really liked them young. I was a favorite of his and just dreaded him a great deal. But he was always telling me how he was giving me these great opportunities to be a real big star. "I won't bother you again." I stopped thinking and looked at Miho's smile. Her smile did make me nervous and I asked what she ment by that. "You know. About you and Kitagawa." Why was she bringing this up? She never brought it up. It pains me to just hear his name and I hear it all the time. "There isn't anything to that. It's all just sick people with sick ideas." "Don't be a fuckin' martyr." I winced as Miho cussed. With that angelic face and those dancing eyes, it always threw me off when she used poor language. "Don't worry about that.." I said as I got off the bed. I had the sheet wrapped around my waist and shuffled to the other side of the bed to get my clothes. "I'm going for a bath. Should I call you later." "Should I ask Kitagawa, myself?" I looked up at her and frowned, I didn't want to mean to a girl that I really like, but she was talking about things she just didn't understand. It drove me nuts. Girls in the industry never get molested. You think they would but it just didn't happen. Girls were weak and easier to break. Plus there was the whole deal with pregnancy. It just didn't happen. "I'm thinking of acting... In a drama." I tried to change the subject. "Your going to totally suck at it." Miho said and was walking across the room to leave, "Leave that kinda of stuff to Kimura. He brings in the fangirls." I turned to look in the mirror and saw a younger verison of myself. I hated the fact that Kitagawa had his way with me and only me. Kimura was never touched and he's the big star. I always wonder if I was never taken advantage of would I be a different person. |

| I
really wasn’t as sick as the media had claimed I was. I don't even know
why I went into the hospital to begin with. I don't even like
hospital’s. I guess I just needed to get away. I guess what I needed
was a break. I didn’t know which hospital to go to, their was one near the television station where I did my feeling. It was one of the only places down the street. It was huge enough that I figure no one would really notice if I checked myself in. I went inside and found a huge crowd waiting. I had on a large jacket and sunglasses. Kinda felt foolish with the sunglasses because it was only around 8 in the morning and the jacket was really too big for me. I was known for my thinness and figure it would help hide it. When I walked in, a large group of people turned to look at me. It was really bright inside and smelled sterile. I went to the front desk and asked for the necessary paperwork. The ward clerk gave me a second look and handed me a clip board of forms. I went and sat by the door, fear that if anyone did notice me, I could easily run out. The televison was on and there was a blur of news highlights, and then some girl came up to me. “Your him, aren’t you? I just know it.” I looked at her and tired to appear calm and cool and totally unaware of just what she was talking about. She was older, her hair was greasy and she had this pair of thick glasses on. “My sister’s got this thing for Johnny’s. Your him! HIM!” She started to point at me and people started to look up. I didn’t feel so good. I really try not to get the whole getting notice thing get to me. But other people started to stand up, and get close. I stopped filling out the forums and silently wished Nakai was here, so he can make a joke and give the crowd what they wanted, a laugh or a smile and they would be on their way. “It is him!” An older guy came up, “My wife’s in love with your partner!” I stop and think who isn’t. People are getting close and I feel warm and weak. My hands were shaking by now and I felt like I was hyperventilating. I get up from the seat and pass through the crowd, and throw the clipboard at the lady at the desk and she scans it, sees my name and let’s me in behind those closed doors. After weighting me and taking my vitals, I sit in this empty room with a bed and a chair and wait for the doctor. Every once and while the door would open and a nurse would peek in and look at me. I already had one Nurse try and give me those flimsy gowns and insisted I should wear one, but the hell with that. I know better. One time Shingo gave in and worn the flimsy gown; only to find out the Nurses had taken his clothes, shoes and all! The doctor finally came and gave me a hard glare. “There is a huge crowd outside, wanting to see you. How about a song and dance to get these people off my back?” I glared back. And said nothing. “So tell me, why are you here.” The doctor sat down and took out a pen. I mumbled, pulling away from his gaze. “I’m tired.” The doctor looked hard at me, and I continued to tell me about the work load, the crowds, the anxiety and the lack of fatigue. The doctor made a comment about my blood pressure, said it was usually high for someone so thin. And my weight, the doctor asked if I ever did eat. Gods, just what kind of professional was he? I was shocked, he had no shame. He started to say how his daughter liked the fat one in the group. I figure he was talking about Shingo. He said Shingo was at least twice my size, said it was better than being thin. Later after the doctor left, a Nurse came and gave me the option of staying in the hospital for a few days. I agreed. They gave me a private room in the west part of the hospital. I called to tell management and they didn’t want to hear it and started to make excuses on how I shouldn’t miss work but all I did was hang up on them. One of my assistants went to my home and picked up some scripts I was looking over the other night and clothes to change out of. My room was huge, with a giant window to the side which looked over a shopping plaza so huge there was a bridge so I was able to see crowds going in and out. A nurse came in she wore cute pink scrubs. She told me dinner was on the way. I didn’t really say anything to her. I was bored. She looked hurt, but I was concerned, I was here for hours now and no one has called me. The Nurse had to bring it up and ask if Kimura was going to come and visit. I looked at her, normally I’m polite, but so far it’s always been about Kimura, everyone wants to know when he’s going to come. So I told her flatly “Kimura’s busy with Shizuka.” And the Nurse quickly left. None of these girls like the mention of Shizuka-san, but it’s the truth. She’s here to stay, whether we like it or not. A bit later dinner came, the door was slammed open, “Dinner for ONE! NICE AND HOT!” I looked up from my book, it was Nakai who carried my tray. I smiled wide and he almost dropped the tray on the side table, he gave me a weak smile. “You know your in trouble..” Nakai said he started to drink my glass of water, “The higher ups are pissed off and want to know if your really sick.” I looked down at my food, “Oh yeah? So they sent you?” Nakai looked offended and slapped his chest, “No! I came here on my own free will! Besides I’m on my lunch break.” I stopped to point at the dinner tray, “Dinner time.” Is what I said with a mouth full of food. Nakai waved me away, “You know with the hours I work, I’m lucky I’m still finding time to eat.” I smiled and started to eat my dessert. Nakai sat at the edge of the bed, “So how long you going to stay here?” I watched as he tugged his the hem of his shirt. He looked almost jealous that I had the nerve and was the first to take the time off. Lord knows he needs it. “Just one day? Or more?” I looked away at the window, “Don’t know. However long it takes.” Nakai stood and was at the door, “Well, use the time well, I mean I can fight off the higher ups for only so long.” And he was out the door. I slept great that night and was shocked at how soon morning came. The Nurse came in and did the typical vital stats and I asked her that I would ring for her if I did need anything. I ate breakfast and watched some tv; and saw on the news there was a bit about me staying in the hospital. They sure did use an old photo for me. I got cleaned up and dressed and sat on the bed and waited. I was surprised that Nakai was the only one who visited. I was really hoping Goro would visit. But we haven’t been on good terms lately. I brushed my hair and thought about him, a lot of people may not known this but Goro and I are really close, closer than bandmates should me. I haven’t really found a woman I fancy and while Goro has been seeing Miho Kanno for the longest time, that relationship is pure madness and I think he knows it. Otherwise why would he share a bed with me? But for the pass few months we haven’t been close at all and at times he would just get up and leave while I’m talking. I suddenly hear some screaming outside my door. My door slams open and it walks in Kimura with his eldest daughter in tow. He slams the door shut and let’s go of his daughter’s hand. She’s five year’s old now and walks right up to the bed, “TOASTER! TOASTER!” I look down at her and give a weak smile, “Kokomi-chan? What is toaster?” Kimura sighs and looks outside the window, “That’s all Kudo’s doing. She sends my girl off to some fancy English school and she comes home saying things like toaster or toilets.” I get a hold of Kokomi and sit her with me on the bed and look at Kimura, waiting for my lecture. If Nakai is leader, Kimura is the one who deals out the punishment. I wince, would he yell if Kokomi is with me? “Toaster!” Kokomi smiles and looks at her father. “Enough!” Kimura looks at me and comes close pointing at me, “Look. How long you going to be here? Valentine’s day is tomorrow and I couldn’t get the time off. I wanted to take Kudo out dancing, but instead I’m working and here you are wasting away in a bed.” I look hurt, but I’ve gotten use to Kimura’s idea of time off, never askes for it and I remember the time he almost misses Kokomi’s birth and he barely made it in time and he missed Mitsuki’s birth all together but we never bring it up. Why? Never have to, Shizuka brings it up all the time and gets all hurt of Kimura can’t take time off or make the time for her. “Listen, I’ll be out of here soon-“ Kimura stops me and looks at me hard. “Tsuyo, take all the time you need. I don’t mean to push, it’s just so much pressure, Kudo wants me here, Work needs me there and I want to be….”Kimura stops and looks at Kokomi, “I just wanna be here with her.” “TOASTER!” Kimura slaps her lighting on the top of the head, and she laughs, “Gotta get the right English in her, Kudo thinks any English is good english.” I shrug, “Yeah well, Shizuka thinks a lot of things.” Kimura gives me a look that says to not say anymore and he takes Kokomi by the hand, “I gotta go, the people downstairs aren’t to happy I’m here, and I gotta get her to school. Kudo’s out buying a dress for tomorrow. Haven’t really told her I won’t have the time.” Kimura walks out with Kokomi and I wave goodbye. I sit and wait for the time to pass. I do some light exercise and even sing a bit, but that brings the Nurses to my room and I don’t want to crowd. I think about the relationship that Kimura has with Shizuka and wonders if he’s happy. I know he loves his girls but I won’t ever forget the day he came to all of us and got on the floor and said, “I’m getting married. Forgive me.” And Nakai screamed and Goro laughed and Shingo walked out. I didn’t say much, figure it was for the best since management told us straight up that it was “for the best” if kids were on the way, marriage was the way to go. Thank god, I didn’t have any woman in my life. Nakai always goes on about Shizuka didn’t take her pills and Goro started to really abuse Miho by spending the night with every other woman who would come knocking but I couldn’t really say much because even I was doing Goro when he was seeing Miho. And Shingo, well.. Shingo grew up a little faster since Kimura got married, figured either women were out to get him, or something like that. Valentine’s day was tomorrow. I wonder if I should check out and go home. But to who? There was no one waiting. Shingo called me that night. He said he was sorry he couldn’t visit but he just wasn’t in town at the moment. He also talked about his plans for Valentine’s day and how he had the day off and picked up this girl off the set of his latest drama. Didn’t really know her name, but liked her because she didn’t ask how much money he had in his pocket. He was excited, I was glad for him but felt slightly empty. Nakai, Kimura and Shingo have all made contact with me. Where was Goro? I bet he was with Miho.. When Goro had free time he loved to shop and Miho would sit and sit and sit and be totally content with watching him shop. I tossed and turned and around two in the morning I went to the front desk to check myself out. The people weren’t pleased with making arrangements this early in the morning. I told them I wanted to go to a hotel and told them to contact my management to tell them where I was located. Before I left I went around to thank that Nurse in the pink scrubs, I felt bad for being mean to a few of them, so I signed some stuff and blew some kisses and felt like Nakai being silly. I felt a little bit better, it was good to have two days of rest, but now I didn’t want to leave, that hotel would just be empty and I would be alone, tomorrow out of all days. I gave hugs and even made a quick trip down to the child’s section of the hospital where some of the more unruly kids were up at this hour. They were shocked to see him and I said hello and this one guy came up to me and said to tell Kimura that he stole his dream girl. I laughed and said, “Take her! Please!” Around 5AM I finally left the hospital and with my things, took a cab to the hotel. It was a few blocks away, I got my hotel key and crashed. I was exhausted and tried to not get the feeling of being alone get to me. I woke up to a awake up call, management always sends for a wakeup call for any of us if were in hotels, just so we won’t over sleep. Always hated the idea. Always tired to bried the people at the desk with cash, but they never take it. I wake up and take a cold shower, I feel empty and alone. Maybe I’ll go downstairs and buy my own chocolate. There was a knock at me door, “ROOM SERVICE!” I didn’t order any room service, but I went to the door and opened it. There stood Goro with a box of chocolate. I stop and look at him, not wanting to invite him in. He stands and gives me a blank look and hands me the chocolate. “Hi.” Goro says. I take the chocolate and notice a few pieces are already missing. “That’s from Nakai,” Goro says, “Says he wanted to make sure it was good before he gave it to you.” I want to throw it at him and ask him why he’s here and why the hell didn’t he visit me while I was in the hospital. Goro walks into the hotel room, and I only shut the door and and watch him sit on the small sofa, his legs are crossed and he looks at the floor. “So… That’s it. Chocolate from Nakai.” I say as I stand across from him, “No visit in the hospital, no phone call?” I’m so upset, and I feel ashamed that I let Goro get to me like this, it’s not like he’s told me I’m his number one, his only one. Goro looks up at me, “I wasn’t sure if you wanted me there, they told me you were sick. Nakai said you were vomiting all over and getting the nurses to dress you and undress you, Nakai said you were living it up. Said the Nurses wear these short white dresses. I asked Kimura about it but he just brushed me off, and Shingo said he only called and said you sounded exhausted-“ “But you come now.” I cut him off and stare hard at him, he should know that Nakai makes everything bigger than what it really is. Goro shrugs, “I just didn’t want to make you worst.” I almost fall down, damn him! This guy thinks all I think about is him! So not true! SO NOT TRUE! I shake my fist at him, “Dammit Goro! Well your doing one hell of a job!” Goro stands up and takes a hold of my hand. “Listen I left Miho. She’s gone for good.” Goro looks at me soft, “When I heard you were in the hospital, I didn’t know what to think, I was concern, why was I caring so much.” I looked hard at Goro and didn’t want to fall for this act, “Goro, leave. I’ve seen you play the game with Miho; please don’t play it with me.” Goro held my hand tighter and pulled me close, “This isn’t a game, I mean it, what I felt when you were in the hospital, made me think about a lot of things and I did a lot of thinking, believe me.” Goro gave a weak laugh and I pushed him away and went to the door, “If your not leaving, than I’m.” Goro looked at me with these huge eyes, “Can’t you realize what I’m telling you?” I glared hard at him, “No. What.” I grew bored, I knew Goro all my life. I knew how he manipulated people. “You’re the one, you’re the one that I want.” Goro looked like he was going to cry and I felt sick. He started to empty his pockets, “Look, the photo’s of Miho, the phone numbers of all those girls, even that spare key to Ako’s house, all gone. I don’t want it! I don’t need it!” I gave a weak laugh, “Your back pocket, Goro.” Goro looked at me, “What? This?” He pulled out his cellphone. “Turn it off.” Goro turned it off and I shut the door, and I jumped on him and gave him a million kisses all at once, while I don’t believe for a moment Goro would give up the girls for me, but at that moment I knew he was mine for the day and he whispered in my ear, “Happy Valentine’s day, my love.” And I bit my lip and tried hard not to cry. |
Lies

Pairing: Kimura/Shizuka
“Sometimes you can be so clueless!” Shizuka Kudo screams at her husband
of five years. She quickly grabs her purse and the car keys and leaves
the house the pair of them has shared for over seven.
“I just want it to be over!” Kimura Takuya recalls her yelling at him, after he makes a comment at how lucky and happy he is to be working with Matsu Takako again.
Kimura sits. He does wish for that. Just end it all. Get it done with for good. Shizuka Kudo has always been hysterical whenever Kimura talks about other women. It was a part of his job, in the drama’s to be close with his female counterparts. When Shizuka found out he would be working with Matsu again she threw a fit. Can’t really blame her, they did have a long time working relationship and for a while there it was something more, but Matsu was always looking out for number one, her career.
That’s why Kimura liked Shizuka best, he was her number one. Call it a bit unfair but Shizuka put her career and life on hold for him and at the same time, Kimura wanted no one but her. But the little things that they usually fought over seemed to be getting bigger and although neither seemed to voice it, He was getting a little scared.
Kokomi came from down the hallway and took a hold of her father’s hand. She smiled and asked where her Mother went. Kimura took a hold of her and held her close and said she went out for the mail. And Kokomi gave her father a kiss.
Later that night Shizuka came home and undressed and got on the bed beside Kimura.
“I love you. I’m sorry”
Kimura shut his eyes and held his breath. Her words. They meant nothing.
“Are you awake?”
“No.” Kimura answered and turned to look at her, she gave a dazzling smile and stroked his face. “Don’t you love me?”Shizuka asked.
“Yes.” He lied. Even the way he said it, it sounded like a lie.
I think it's nice.
Nakai thinks Shizuka Kudo likes him; but Kimura feels she has an agenda.

"I think it's nice that she asked me to go." Nakai said as he stared into the mirror and brushed his hair. He was dressed in a new suit. It was dark colored a bit formal for where he was going off to, but he did want to look his very best.
Kimura Takuya sat on the bed and watched his bandmate, "Well I'm glad she didn't ask me to go. I hate going to places like that." He folded his arms across his chest and gave a hard look at Nakai who stared back at him from the mirror.
"Don't make such a face!" Nakai laughed and turned to look at Kimura, "Your so jealous and you can't even hide it!"
There was a knock at the door and before either of them could answer in, Shingo Katori their bandmate walked in with a newspaper and threw it over at Kimura. "Check out the front page, for some reason it's news."
There was a headline of Shizuka Kudo's apperance with SMAP at a chinese talk show a few days ago and people reported they over heard Shizuka asked when Nakai had free time. Kimura read out loud pieces but stopped and folded the paper, "She only asked you because your the leader of the group."
Nakai laughed and took the newspaper from Kimura, "Oh stop it, now your just being mean." He turned to look at Shingo to give him his thanks for the newspaper who in turn said to Nakai, "It's true. She must have a secret agenda."
Nakai took a hand to his chest, "STUPID! Why are both of you not liking her! Maybe she just wants to have a good time and neither of can handle that this super idol chick wants it with me!"
Shingo and Kimura just looked at Nakai with bored looks.
"I'm leaving!" Nakai turned to grab his car keys, "Don't wait up!" Nakai went laughing as he left the house and walked to his car.
Kimura watched from the window, "Stupid. She just wants attention and she thinks she can get it from us since we're selling alot of records right now."
The next day Nakai came home and had a story to tell.
"Don't want to hear it!" Kimura said as he turned on the radio later. Nakai went to lower the radio and wanted to share all the details. "She was sooooooooo cool. She wore this tight dress and had her hair down to HERE!" Nakai pointed to his rear, "She went ahead and ordered for us and took charge, she talked so much I wanted to take notes!" Kimura rolled his eyes and Nakai contituned, "You know how she has that super cute voice when she sings, it's like that when she talks, all like a little girl!" Nakai turned his hands to fists and shook them in the air with glee.
"Sick" Kimura said, "What? Since when did you like the sound of a ten year old?" Kimura turned up the radio and it just happen to play one of Shizuka's songs, "What? This so early in the morning!" Kimura turned it off and Nakai rushed to the radio, "Don't turn it off! I think this is her new song! Listen! Now how cute is that!" Nakai swayed to the music and Kimura left the kitchen. Nakai followed and wanted to tell Kimura more, "And she talked about you, Kimura-kun! She said when she does smapxsmap next week, she really wants to know what song you want to sing of her's." Kimura froze in his tracks, "I don't think I'll show up that day."
Nakai grabbed Kimura by the shoulder, "You never miss any days, don't joke like that! She really wants to know what you think! She's cool, she thinks of all of us as leaders, she said that's what makes us last so long, I mean I know I'm the leader or whatever, but she likes how all of us take charge and get things done right." Nakai nodded with a goofy smile on his face.
Kimura could only walk away.
Later on in the week, the schedule of Smapxsmap was changed and since Shizuka had free time her taping came sooner than expected and everyone was preparing for her arrival.
"You shaved?" Kimura pointed at Goro, who gave a weak smile, "Yeah! And look, new shoes!" He lifted his left foot and pulled his pants up a bit for Kimura to see.
"Don't tell me it's because of her?" Kimura asked, but he started to get up, he didn't want to wait for the answer. He found Nakai in the kitchen with her. She had already arrived and she wore this summer dress and was smiling at Nakai and looked at him as if he was the only one in the world. Nakai looked at Kimura, "Your here!" he waved Kimura over to the pair and told Kimura, "I gotta go change, tell her what song you think is best."
Nakai bounced out of the room and Kimura was left alone with Shizuka who looked at him from head to toe and said in the sing-song voice, "So.. What song would you like to sing me with?"
"None." Kimura said quickly and tired to avoid her gaze.
Shizuka stepped close and went to fix his tie and Kimura froze and tired to look at anybody but her, but she only got closer and only kept her eyes on him.
"Don't you blink." Kimura said as he looked away from her.
"What's that? Look at me." Shizuka said and with her right hand turned
Kimura's face towards her's. "I like Nakai, but I love you." Before
Shizuka could say anything she went and kissed him softly on the lips
and before Kimura could push her aside, Nakai was already there
watching it all with a sad look on his face.

"I'll let you know," she responded as she took a hold of the car keys and stopping only a few feet from her daughter she paused and looked down at Kokomi their eldest and gave a smirk. ""I do hope you enjoy your summer." was all she said as she walked out.
Kokomi was more startled with the look her mother gave her and watched as she walked out the door. Her father Kimura Takuya was sitting at the kitchen table, now obviously annoyed he looked back at Kokomi and lot out his smoke. He went right up to her and told her his mother wouldn't be around for a while and left it at that.
"So she left!" Shingo grinned wickedly and he pressed Kimura for the news.
"Don't say it like that!" Kimura winced as he looked around for a cup of coffee. He was in the break room located in the studio where they did the taping for SMAP X SMAP and he was alone with Shingo and he was grateful for that because Shingo could't keep a secret was making no attempt to with this news.
"No one knows. So don't be telling everyone." Kimura said rubbing his neck, his eyes looking up at the clock. "So I don't know how the girls are going to get along. We could always hire help." Kimura pulled a face and shuddered.
Shingo nudged Kimura, "Let's go look for women this summer!"
Kimura grew serious immediately and gave Shingo a look, "JESUS. My marriage isn't over! She just needs some time to herself."
"Don't go looking for trouble.." Goro said softly as we walked in.
"YOU HEARD!" Kimura shouted giving Shingo a glare.
Goro took off his jacket and kept looking at the floor, "Your both loud enough." Goro sighed and went to get a cup of tea.
Shingo asked to no one in the room, "What's with him?"
Goro laughed and shook his head, "I just think it's funny. Your making jokes about finding some women, but you all give me the third degree when I get caught with some fan at a bar."
"FANS? Is that what your calling them now? You were caught fair and square but Miho-san no less with a bar girl! Not once, NOT TWICE, but three times! The things you put Miho-san through it terrible." Kimura said firmly to Goro as he went to refill his cup of coffee, "cheating maybe has been your style, but flaunting it is truly beneath you!"
Goro kepting looking at the floor and all he could say in return was, "It wasn't flaunting. I just always got caught." and with that he left the room.
"Why are we fighting?" Shingo asked, "Kimura this is all YOUR fault!"Shingo stepped backwards and grabbed Goro's jacket and left the room.
After the taping of the day's episode Nakai was screaming at his bandmates, "THIS WASN'T 100% EFFORT! TODAY WHAT WE DID WAS TRASH. THIS ISN'T HOW SMAP WORKS!" No one said anything in reply, they just sat and listen to Nakai ranting about the lack of effort, the lack of a team and just the general vibe of it all.
"It's because Shizuka's gone and left him!" Shingo pointed at Kimura.
Nakai almost fell to the ground, he was in mid-rant and grew wide eyed and serious. "Shizuka's gone? She left the house?"
"For the summer." was all Kimura said.
Nakai took a hand to cover his face. His face held many expressions of embarrassment and anxiety, and first he was embarrassed at how he secretly felt about this. He had admired and loved Shizuka for a long time but she made her choice with Kimura and then he felt anxiety and he didn't want Kimura or anyone else to know he still had these feelings deep down inside him. "I should go." was all he said but was stopped as Kimura stood up, "Don't bother. I was just leaving." and with that he left the room.
A few days later Kimura was leaving a hotel alone and there was the media outside. There was a large group and all had pounced on Kimura asking questions about just where was Shizuka and why the kids were missing school. Kimura just smiled weakly but said nothing and got into his car and went home.
"Thanks for watching the girls."
Matsu Takako gave a half-hearted nod and handed Kimura the mail. "It isn't a big deal. I had some time off and you know I love the girls." She watched at Kimura looked at the mail, he picked up a postcard from the bunch and threw it straight to the garbage.
"Your aren't going to read that?" Takako said as he watched him threw it away.
"You and I both know what it says." Kimura said slowly and Takako grew flushed because she did indeed read it and walked hurriedly down the hallway.
Kimura followed, "Where are you going?"
Takako took her purse and slipped on her shoes. "I should go, it's late and.."
Kimura took a hold of her purse, "It's raining. You should stay the night." he offered sympathetically.
Matsu Takako looked cautiously at Kimura and said, "It's not raining."
"I know, but it sounded cool."
There was a piano in his living room and Takako looked at Kimura and asked, "Can you still play?"
"I wasn't very good, besides if I recall right you were the better piano player." The pair spoke of their days both being in the Long Vacation series, it was the first time both were paired up and both played such intense characters in love for all the wrong reasons. The series proved to be a smash and for years both were bound by the hip in the television world.
"Did you ever like working with Tokiwa-san?" Matsu asked cooly as she drank her tea.
Kimura didn't wait to think of an answer, "She was intense. She used that damn wheelchair to her advantage." Kimura laughed at his own joke. He was paired with Tokiwa Takako who played a wheelchair bound woman and while she didn't need a wheelchair in real life, she offen played the part of a cripple when taping stopped and insisted Kimura carry her around the set. It was also the first real smash hit Kimura had without Matsu Takako at his side and the public felt he finally had met a new match in the television world.
"I was going to get that part, but they wanted a new, younger face." Takako said sadly.
Kimura sat closer with Matsu Takako and looked at her with a big smile. He knew what he wanted to do. He wanted to hold her and hug her and let her know she was the best, he knew without he wouldn't have the big career he has now. This was insane.
Almost certainly a mistake. But Kimura went and held her tight and lightly kissed her on the cheek a few times. Takako began to move forward and kissed Kimura on the cheek and soon both made contact with their lips.
"We should work together again." Takako purred into Kimura's ear.
Kimura nodded uncertainly, but said nothing; wondering if he should just get off the couch and run down to his room and lock the door.
"Want to stop?" Takako asked.
"Yeah." Kimura said as he got off the couch and sat on the floor and smiled at the floor. "We should get to bed, it's late and the girls have school tomororw."
Takako said nothing.
The next morning in the school parking lot, Matsu Takako said from the backseat, "You don't want attention but you buy the biggest car in the world."
"Shove it!" Kimura said playfully as he parked and took the keys out of the car and removed his seatbelt and unsnapped Kokomi's. He got out of the car and went to the passenger side and went to open the door, but before he could the door banged open and Kokomi stepped out the car herself, "I can get out on my own." She said and took her father's hand. Before she shut the door she looked at Takako who sat in the backseat, "Mommmy isn't going to be happy that she's here, Dad." Before Kimura could reply, Kokomi slammed the door shut and lead her father down the sidewalk to her classroom.
Matsu Takako secretly hated how Kimura's daughter thought the world truly did revolve around her Mother.
Kimura came back and started the car, "Sorry about that. She just thinks your someone else. One of the girl's, Goro brings to the house." Kimura smiled and started to drive away, ""Shizuka always tells her to stay away from the Goro's girlfriends."
Kimura laughs and looks at Takako from his driver's mirror and notices she isn't smiling.
It's been three weeks and Matsu Takako is still staying at the house.
"It's really is differnt when someone hand washes the dishes." Kimura said as he held a cup up the light. "Shizuka never washes dishes by hand, says it isn't to good for the skin."
Takako was at the sink washing a pile of dishes, for the pass couple of days she started to cook at the meals. Kimura had some time off and was able to stay home and while Takako took care of the household; Kimura was able to spend more time with his daughters. He was happy and felt content. When he did have time off it was spent doing things around the house.
"I like this." Kimura said lying on the floor watching the television.
"What?" Takako dried her hands and went to the living room, "Seeing yourself on tv?"
Kimura took a good look at the screen and it was him on the TV on another drama series, he changed the channel, "Sorry, didn't realize I had it on that."
"Sure you didn't." Takako took a seat on the floor next to Kimura.
"No, I meant this. You. Here. Things are being taken care of, the girls are happy." Kimura rolled on his back and look at Takako with a grin. His arms were folded behind his head.
"What? A maid?" Takako said with a laugh and crawled on top of Kimura and kissed him on the cheek.
Kimura liked this girl around. He forgot while a singer and entertainer like himself and Shizuka; she was't at all high maintance like Shizuka and actaully liked to be a part of the family and the work that went along with running a house hold.
Both of the lied on the floor, holding hands. However, as supportive and encouraging as she was Kimura had a nagging feeling on the back of his mind about Shizuka and how much he had missed her.
After a while Kimura's silence forced her to look up and there stood in the doorway was Shizuka Kudo.

About: Following real life events, Tsuyoshi's relationship with his
long time girlfriend gets serious. Tsuyoshi only follows his heart. In

hold.
When I did those Spider-Man skits for the SmapxSmap show, I really wanted to see the Spider-man movie. When I found out it wasn't going to be released in Japan for another month, I took Koharu with me and we took a plane to the US to see the flim. We had only a day to otherselves and it was our first overnight trip together, let alone aboard and it was something I'd never forget.
I loved the movie. While watching Koharu insisted on the works. She said we were on holiday and we ate candy, hot dogs, popcorn and soda. She finshed the popcorn before the previews even ended and went right up to get a refill. I loved how she didn't care. Sometimes when we'd go out with Goro and Miho-san; Goro would watch Miho eat and make these little comments about eatting slower and eatting less. While Koharu would eat it all up and ask for seconds.
"Don't really like her." was all Goro would tell me every time we went out. After a while I didn't ask him to come along anymore.
So anyway, back to the Spider-Man movie. Once the production team heard that I already saw it they insisted I do a skit and one of the camera guy's had a bunch of comics and said I should read them and tell them if there was any ideas I wanted to use for the skit. So I took the comics home and read them and there was this one female character that kept coming up. She was Spider-Man's girlfriend his true love; but she died by the hands of Spider-Man's close friend. I wanted to include a skit with her but was shot down. The character kinda reminded me of Koharu and soon after a while the nickname of the girlfriend stuck with Koharu. I would sometimes let it slip when we were alone. I'd call her Gwen and Koharu would laugh and hold my hand even tighter.
I was really glad to met Koharu. She was kind and considerate to all people and didn't seem to mind my career constantly getting in the way. She was always ok if I told her I couldn't make it or that I'd be late and she never seemed to love the spot light. I'd take her out and she's always willing to stand on th sidelines as the fans came and asked for photo's. She was also private about out relatioship. Never went running to the media and never gossiped amoung her friends. I really liked having her in my life.
I wanted to take the next step and meet her parents. I took the 3 hour trip to her parents home who didn't bat an eye as to who I was. Infact I don't think they really understood just who I was, I told them I was a talent, an idol and they asked me to say no more; As long as I respected her and treated her with dignity it was ok with them. The trip did us some good and that night before I left to the hotel and Koharu to her old room she held me tight and told me that she loved me and only me.
The summer was coming up and I wanted to take some time off to spend with her. She was working a bit more and it couldn't be helped. She had a school loan to pay off and I offered her to pay for it in full but she pushed me away and insisted she could do it. Later on I was told about upcoming concert dates.
We were about to start the first leg of the tour and Koharu had to work for the first couple of dates. I wanted to take her out before the first date but Nakai insisted I rest up and get some sleep before the first date, so I went home alone that night. When I got home, I remember I called Koharu and we talked for hours; She said she would try to get some time off and go by train and catch the tour. I told her to swing by my house after work and pick up my car keys. I won't be using the car and going by car would be faster and she thought it was a great idea.
Me and Shingo went to meet with the concert supervisior who had us measured for out concert outfits one last time. I seem to be losing weigh and Shingo seemed to be gaining. Shingo didn't say much and I kept making lame excuses like how Koharu would eat all the food before I had a chance but on one got the joke.
We did our first concert date in the Saitama center. I remember Nakai coming to see another idol concert. He made fun of this girl idol from Hello!Project through out her entire career and I guess this was her last show so he went on behalf of Utaban and bought in tow one of the biggest flower arrangements in the hall. Nakai gushed about how he made her cry and Shingo said she wasn't crying for the flowers but crying because he called her a horse face for the last 4 years. Nakai laughed and said it was all idol polictics.
After the Saitama show we all retreated to our hotels. Around 3 in the morning there was a knock at my door, it was our manager and I was told we were having a group meeting. I went down the hallway and into the suite that Kimura had. It was his turn for the suite and there was the other four. Nakai was half asleep on the floor and Shingo was in the kitchen raiding the small fridge. Goro looked nervous but I didn't really pay attention, I sat down by the window and waited for the lecture.
Our manager was frim. She was older, like our mother and didn't play favorites. If she saw something she didn't like she would be on our backs making sure we didn't do it again. Even at three in the morning she was fully dressed and had her hair neatly pinned up.
"Inagaki felt the need to stray again."
Nakai was on the floor and rolled to his side, "AGAIN?! JESUS! Did you bring her here, just shove her with some money and through the back door!" Kimura looked bored and gave Goro a hard look and sneered, "How would you feel if she cheated on you?" Goro didn't say anything and Shingo was busy eatting.
"Sadly the money will do us no good. There are pictures. Seems Miho herself, called me and said she's fed up and planning a tell all."
Everyone grew quiet.
"Why the slience, don't tell me you told her things she shouldn't know."
Nakai groaned and Shingo and Kimura both glared daggers at Goro who only seemed to be sinking in his seat more and more.
"Inagaki. Can you fix this?"
Goro stood and went to the door, "I'll see her. I'll fix this." He always tried to act so cool. We knew he'd be wreak in the car and would be thinking up a million ways on how to say sorry. Poor Miho. I wouldn't do anything like this to Koharu. The meeting ended and I went back to my hotel room and saw I had a voice mail on my cellphone, I checked it and was Koharu! She said she was thirty minutes from the hotel and would be able to have the day off. I quickly got dressed and went to the lobby to wait.
While in the lobby I had a drink of coffee and read the newspaper. It had been over thirty minutes and then as I started to worry there was a phone call. I didn't bother to check the call ID. I answered and it was Goro. There was alot of noise in the background. "Goro? So what did Miho-san say?" I laugh but Goro sounds like he's going to cry, "Tsuyo- your there, RIGHT?" Goro coughs and I grow quiet. "Tsu- your in the hotel right?"
I stand and walk towards the front desk, I want to page Nakai. Things just don't sound right.
"I'm here. Goro? Where are you?"
'Nothing- .. I'm fine. I just got into a car wreak. Nothing to big... " Goro pauses for almost a minute. "Just thought I hit your car. It looked like yours." He hangs up and I forget to page for Nakai. Instead I call Koharu but she doesn't answer. I call again and again and for a while the phone is busy. It's been over an hour now and Koharu hasn't shown up. I go back to my hotel room and lie in bed with all the lights off. I try to call Goro but he doesn't answer. Then his phone is turned off.
In the morning I get a phone call. I answer it's Goro says he'd be late to the concert, but he'd be there. Just not for rehearal. I tell the other's and Nakai fumes.
Koharu never showed up.
I get another call, it's my insurance agent. He say's my car's being held by the police. He jokes and says I was lucky to make it out alive. I feel sick. The policeman contiunes and says I shouldn't bother to pick up the car, it's worthless. I hang up the phone and scream.
I don't know how long I was screaming but room service comes by and say's I have some visitor's. I usher her away and notice it's Koharu's parents. Their faces look blank and all they tell me is that Koharu was on her way to see him but she was in a accident. I think about Goro's call and how he said he thought he had hit my car. I sliently beg and beg that the police have the other driver in custody but Koharu's mom screams that it was a hit and run and the police haven't a clue who hit her.
I throw myself to floor wanting to die. I have to see Koharu, ask her what she knows.
Her father is on the floor beside me, he has his hands on my shoulders and tells me she died this morning.
I push him away and run out of the door, I dash down the flight of stairs to the lobby and run to the parking lot. Goro was walking up to the hotel. We were alone and he looks shaken and exhausted. I jump on him and we both go crashing to the pavement. I demand to see his car, he says he took a cab. I'm crying and screaming and tell him to cut the crap and show me his car.
"Tsuyo, the accident. My car is messed up; I had to take a cab." Goro pushes me off him and stands up.
"What about the other driver? Are they ok?"
"Sure they are." Goro lies as he wipes off his suit and fixes his hair.
"You did it before, YOU'LL DO IT AGAIN!" I scream as he walks away from me.
He stops and looks back at me. "If you report me. It's over. Everything is."
I'm shaking and I'm sliently crying.
At that moment I feel like Spider-Man
END
Notes: I was told that Tsuyoshi had a girlfriend in real life that he
adored but she died in a horrible traffic accident. That's the only
thing based off real life event's. Goro did do a hit and run once but
I'm not claiming he went and killed Tsuyoshi's girlfriend, that part is
fiction. Please don't flame. I did this in a rush because I knew I just
had to write it all out. Comments, Questions and Rants are welcome.

"I'm worried," the housekeeper said "this is scaring me. It's all so sudden."
Shizuka ignored the look and kept on packing, "It's alright, we're only going to be gone for a week. He's knows all about it, so there isn't a reason for concern." She buttons up her coat and tilts her head and gives a smile to her housekeeper Meiko. "I'll call as soon as we get to the airport." She pats Meiko's shoulder and signals for her to carry the luggage downstairs.
"I really wish you weren't going." Meiko says as she struggles with the bags.
"You know I have to do this."
"What? Do what?"
Shizuka smiled and pressed the issue, "The trip. I need a vacation, dear." She took the car keys out of her pocket and opened the trunk. She went to the driver's side and looked inside, Kokomi and Mitsuki both were sitting and waiting for their mother to get in. She waved hello to them and got into the vehicle. "Wave goodbye to Meiko." she told her childern as she drove away.
At the airport the wait felt like hell. Shizuka sliently wished she didn't wear her heels. Kokomi begged for a drink and Mitsuki had fallen asleep in her arms. The trio waited in line for over thirty minutes; she couldn't get out of line to buy Kokomi her drink. She felt drained and wished she had her hired help, but knew she had to do this alone.
When security did their checks, Shizuka bought Kokomi her favorite flavored drink and Mitsuki had woken up startled and started to cry. "You told me Daddy was going to be here when I woke up. Where is he?" Shizuka felt lost. She hated to admit it, but whenever Mitsuki cried or grew upset, she would hand her over to Meiko who would calm her down. Kokomi was never one to grow anxious and often sat and watched everything.
"Darling, please. Daddy is at work," Shizuka purred as she stroked her hair, "Take another nap and he'll be here next time." Mitsuki didn't look at her mother but watched Kokomi with the drink, "I want that! Where is mine?" Shizuka handed Kokomi some money and asked her to buy another. Shizuka watched her daughter walk off for another drink and wished she didn't feel such guilt.
After an hour, they boarded the plane. Mitsuki sat in the window seat, Shizuka was to the left of her, and Kokoki was stuck sitting in front of Shizuka. She refused to put on her seat belt and stood on the seat to make faces at Mitsuki who only cried for her Father. Shizuka was busy touching up her makeup and didn't notice that a woman was speaking to Kokomi.
"You look familar? I could swear it by the eyes." The woman looked closely at Kokomi, she stared a little long and Shizuka shut her makeup case and barked at the woman, "Your holding up the aisle, move along." The woman almost dropped her purse when she caught Shizuka's eye. " Y- your his wife.." she stuttered . Shizuka waved her hand to move her along, "I'm more than his wife, I have a name." and the woman was at a lost of words at how stern Shizuka acted.
"Mommy..." Kokomi stood on her seat and looked at her mother, "Daddy says to be nice to the girls, Daddy says their important in his life too." Shizuka scoffed, "Well Daddy should know there is only one important girl in his life."
"Don't you mean three?" The stewardess said off hand as she buckled Kokomi's seat belt.
Shizuka said nothing as the stewardess checked the trio's seat belts.
Back at home Meiko tried to call first Shizuka who had her phone off. It's been over three hours and she didn't call like she said she would. And while that was nothing new, it was well known in the household that whatever Shizuka said was to be taken with a grain of salt, but what concerned Meiko is that she took both of the childern with her or any other help. She tried her call their Father but the calls were only lead to his voice mailbox. She grew restless and while upstairs she cleaned up the master bedroom and noticed and she had taken off her wedding ring. It wasn't hard to miss; it was massive and pink and she'll never forget the argument the pair had gotten in about the size. She was upset that he didn't agree with the cut and he was furious over the fact she didn't want to accept the ring he had presented to her at their engagement. It was a ring his father had gotten from his father and had been kept in the family for years. So for Shizuka to not accept it, at least to wear through the engagement and save him face, it drove him mad. The day they bought the ring, Meiko witness the two going at it and Shizuka threating to flush the family heirloom down the toilet and Kimura ripping the new ring off her finger and throwing it out the bathroom window. She'll never forget the look on Shizuka's face. It was a look of rage, Shizuka's face was shiny with sweat as she barked at the maid to go hell and get the ring from outside while she was at it.
As a last resort Meiko did have this number, it was a number that she kept track of, since the owned of the number called at bizarre hours and asked only for Kimura. She didn't want to doubt the relationship of her bosses but she was aware both had someone on the outside. She dialed the number and a woman answered after six rings. "Is something wrong?" the female voice said. "I can call you, you don't call me." Meiko didn't know what to think and the phone almost slipped out of her grip.
"I have a problem.. I need to speak to .."
"Sorry. You've got the wrong number." the female said quickly in her deep voice.
"PLEASE. Don't hang up! It's a family problem!" Meiko shouted.
"I don't have a family."
There was only slience.
Meiko waited almost a few minutes. She didn't know if the woman was still on the line. She could hear some background noise.
"Shizuka is that you?" Kimura was on the phone, his voice sounded soft, almost tender.
More slience.
"Shizuka? Why did you call this number?" Kimura spoke slowly. Meiko could hear the woman singing in the background.
".. Kimura, this is Meiko. I called because of Shizuka." Meiko managed to choke out a response.
Kimura was silent. Then he asked quietly, "What did she do?"
"She's taken them!" Meiko cried and sobbed, "To the airport! She said you knew about it."
"That bitch," he muttered "I'm on my way to the house."
